As an ISO Consultant, my main role is to assist organizations in achieving and maintaining certification to various ISO standards.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a set of internationally recognized standards that define the requirements for various aspects of an organization’s operations, including quality management, environmental management, and information security management.
Work Process
- Conducting a Gap Analysis: I will review the organization’s current processes and procedures and compare them against the requirements of the relevant ISO standard to identify areas where improvements are needed.
- Developing an Implementation Plan: Based on the findings from the gap analysis, I will develop a plan for implementing the necessary changes to meet the ISO standard’s requirements.
- Providing Training: I will train employees and management on the requirements of the ISO standard and the changes that need to be made to meet these requirements.
- Conducting Internal Audits: I will conduct internal audits to ensure that the organization’s processes and procedures are in compliance with the ISO standard.
- Facilitating the Certification Process: I will work with the certification body to prepare the organization for the certification audit and provide support during the audit process.
- Providing Ongoing Support: After certification, I will continue to work with the organization to ensure that they maintain compliance with the ISO standard and make any necessary changes as their business evolves.
To be successful in this role, I have gained a deep understanding of ISO standards and the Certification Process, Excellent Communication and Project Management Skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
